ABOUT SUDESH
Why I Built Shiksha
I wanted to do more than solve doubts. I wanted to take responsibility for the learning process — teaching, practising, testing, and improving.
I noticed something repeatedly while teaching: in many traditional tuition setups, students are expected to study the chapter on their own, and the teacher mainly steps in when a doubt comes up.
That can solve a doubt. But it doesn't always answer the bigger questions. Does the student really understand the chapter? Can they solve unfamiliar questions? Are they repeating the same mistakes in tests?
01 — I understand it in class. But I can't solve it independently.
Knowing Maths ≠ Scoring in Maths
Understanding the chapter is only the beginning. Scoring also depends on application, accuracy, independence, and speed.
This is the Scoring Gap.
04 — I can solve it. But I'm too slow.
02 — I know the formula. But I don't know when to use it.
05 — I know how to solve it. But I struggle when the question changes.
03 — I knew the answer. But I made a silly mistake.
